Three formats
Three ways to play.
Play one week or the whole season. The host locks in the format before the Pool opens.
All season
$14.99 per season
Pick a winner. Stay alive.
One team a week to win. A wrong pick costs a strike. Run out and you're out. Ride the favorites while they last, because no entry can use a team twice all season.
The classic, also called a suicide pool, eliminator pool, knockout pool, or last man standing.
Pick a loser. Sweat every comeback.
One team a week to lose. A win costs the strike, and a garbage-time touchdown can flip your whole Sunday. Same no-reuse rule, upside down.
Sounds easier. It is not.
One week
$4.99 per week
Pick every game. Count them up.
One NFL week: pick the winner of every game, and each correct pick is a point. Pick winners straight up. Lines are shown for reference. A tiebreaker game settles a tie, and next week starts fresh.
The office football pool, without the paper sheets.
Survivor and Losers
One pick a week, from that week's real games.
Every week your group gets the real slate. Pick a team, change your mind as often as you want, and the pick locks at that team's kickoff. Teams you've burned stay crossed out, so nobody needs the spreadsheet tab of shame.

The 2026 season
Start on Week 9.
A Survivor or Losers Pool can start on Week 9 or any later week. Entries close when the last Week 9 game kicks off. A Pick'em is one week at a time, so you can start one any week.
NFL
One team a week through Week 18. One bad pick can end the run.
FAQ
Questions hosts ask.
Want the full rulebook, edge cases and all? The explainer goes deep.
Pick'em plays one NFL week: pick the winner of every game, and the most correct picks wins. Survivor and Losers run all season with one pick a week and opposite goals. In Survivor you pick a team to win, and a loss costs your entry a strike. In Losers you pick a team to lose, and a win costs the strike. Survivor is the one people also call a suicide, eliminator, knockout, or last-man-standing pool. Your host locks in the format before the Pool opens.
Not in Survivor or Losers. Once an entry picks a team, that team is used up for the rest of the season, win or lose. If a game is voided, the pick is released and the team becomes available again. That one rule is what turns Week 10 into a strategy problem instead of a coin flip. Pick'em has no reuse rule: every game is a fresh pick.
In Survivor and Losers, only if your host runs a one-strike Pool, which is the default. A wrong pick costs a strike, and an entry is eliminated when it runs out of them. Hosts can allow anywhere from one to five strikes. Pick'em has no strikes: a wrong pick just scores zero.
Each pick locks at its game's kickoff, not at one weekly deadline. Other players can't see a pick until it locks. Your host always can.
In Survivor and Losers, entries close when the last game of the Pool's start week kicks off. In Pick'em, entries close when that Pick'em's first game kicks off.
No. Players pay the host directly, and the host pays winners. We never hold the money. We just keep the list.
It depends on how long the Pool runs. A Pick'em is $4.99 per week, or 1 Hosting Credit. A Survivor or Losers Pool is $14.99 per season, or 3 Hosting Credits. Both prices are flat for any group size. Hosting Credits publish Squares too, so returning hosts can spend what they have.
Absolutely. Set the entry fee to zero and the game works exactly the same. Publishing still costs the same flat price, $4.99 per week for a Pick'em or $14.99 per season for Survivor or Losers, no matter what your group plays for.
