What this is

Missing a pick because you forgot is a bad way to go out, and finding out Tuesday that your box hit is a bad way to win. So we'll text you before your picks lock, and when a box pays out. That's it. No odds, no promos, no "last chance" nonsense.

Both are off by default. You turn them on yourself, and you can turn them off just as fast.

What we send

Five kinds of messages, and they look like this:

Before your picks lock

How to turn it on

  1. Sign in and head to your Profile page.
  2. Under Text Notifications, enter your mobile number and tap Send Code.
  3. Enter the 6-digit code we text you, so we know the number is yours.
  4. Switch on Pick Reminders, Win Notifications, or both. The consent language below sits right next to the switches.

By turning on Pick Reminders or Win Notifications you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Sunday Squares about your pools, pick deadlines, and results at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message and we'll stop texting you. Reply HELP and we'll send you contact info. You can also switch either toggle back off on your Profile page, or remove your number entirely.

Turning off texts doesn't affect your account, your pools, or your email settings.

The fine print

  • Frequency: varies by how many pools you're in and how often they lock. Most weeks it's a message or two.
  • Cost: we don't charge for texts, but message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
  • Carriers: delivery isn't guaranteed, and carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Your number: we never share or sell it, and never share your text consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. It goes to our messaging provider only, so they can deliver the message you asked for.
  • US only: texts go to US mobile numbers right now.
